W Financial has provided a $2,000,000 first mortgage acquisition loan secured by more than 300 acres in Kalaheo on the South Shore of the island of Kauai in Hawaii. There is currently a single-family home on one of the 10 lots. The borrower had won the deal at auction and needed to close expeditiously. Upon completion of W’s initial research and then the signing of the term sheet along with the receipt of the good-faith deposit, W Financial deployed a team of two loan officers to inspect and review comparable properties and was therefore able to fund the low-leverage, time-sensitive transaction within a matter of days.
